Lu Anne Wood received a Bachelor of Science degree from Salem College and has ten years of experience serving as the Director of Admission and Financial Aid and the Director of Student and Family Advising at Forsyth Country Day School in Lewisville, N.C. She has worked closely with students, parents, and faculty to guide students through every aspect of the high school experience, and she understands the value of highly individualized attention during these years. As a college advisor, she establishes lists of prospective colleges for students and assists them with every aspect of the application process, including applications, essays, and interview skills.

Lorna received a Master’s of Education in School Counseling from Boston University and has 25 years of experience in the educational setting. She loves to work with high school students to help them clarify their academic interests, identify colleges and universities that will be a “good fit,” and develop a college admission plan to achieve their goals. Lorna was the Co-Director of College Counseling at Forsyth Country Day School for ten years. Students and parents recognize and appreciate Lorna’s abilities, knowledge, passion for education, and exceptional guidance during the college admission process.
